Pregnancy App

BabyBump is a pregnancy tracking app that includes tips, timelines and a community for expecting mothers. The BabyBump app has been in the Apple Store since its inception in 2009 and has not been touched by a designer since. For this project, I worked on multiple phases and iterations with the product and dev teams to update the app.

Logo

We wanted to keep the original concept of showing a woman's pregnancy bump profile, but modern and simple. Initially, I started with a literal bump, but because all women are different shapes and sizes, I opted for a more graphic and universal approach. I placed the simple, white logo on colored backgrounds because one of the main features of the app is to change the theme per color. This way, the logo stays the same even if the background is placed on different gradients or flat colors.
